Torrey has implemented what I believe to be the first implementation of Dojo inside a desktop IM client, in this case Adium. Adium basically renders all of its messages using the Safari WebKit. So it was a matter of figuring out how to package it all together to use Dojo to provide transition effects and animations to create a more interesting IM experience than is normally found with the normal IM themes. The package is still being perfected before it is added to the Adium site. In the interim,Torrey made a short QuickTime video demo showing Dojo inside Adium.
