Dojo Forums reorganization under way.

As many of you may have noticed, the Dojo Forums are being reorganized in order to better support the new project layouts. Please use the appropriate new forum to post new topics.

We now have the following forums.

  • Dojo Core
    1. Dojo Core Support (moved from Support->General Support)
    2. Dojo Core Development Discussion (moved from General Discussion->General Discussion and merged with Core Developers)
  • Dijit
    1. Dijit Support (moved from Support->Dijit)
    2. Dijit Development Discussion (moved from Developers->Dijit Development and merged with the previously new Dijit Discussion)
  • DojoX (all new)
    1. DojoX Support
    2. DojoX Development Discussion
  • Dojo Foundation
    1. News and Announcements (moved from General Discussion->News and Announcements and merged with Events and Meeting Logs)
    2. General Discussion (new off-topic friendly forum)
    3. Showcase (moved from General Discussion->Showcase)
    4. Production Apps (moved from General Discussion->Production Apps)
    5. Jobs (moved from General Discussion->Jobs)
    6. Soc 2007 (not done yet, the current SoC forums will all be merged into 1 big forum since they are low traffic)

Hopefully this make everything easier on everyone. You will also notice that all the forums (with the exception of the Foundation ones) are prefixed with the forum's project name... this is so they stand out when selecting where you are posting something instead of having 3 "Support" forums listed.

More updates will follow once the move of all the topics are completed.

Update

SoC forums were all merged, however we lost the Project Idea threads (8) and 2 threads regarding the students getting paperwork in on time (all of which are obsolete). Future merges/moves are postponed until I can find out why moving a thread and deleting it previous parent forum deletes the thread still. This should be done early next week at the latest.

Update #2

Old forum topics have been completely merged into the new forums.

update #3

After todays IRC meeting, a more streamlined forum layout was discussed. All topics have been merged/moved as required and now we have a good number less forums to confuse everyone with!
