What does your service provide?Coyote Point's Equalizer series of server load balancing appliances are designed to provide application scalability, acceleration and high availability for mission critical applications. Equalizer was designed to be affordable and easy to install and manage while providing performance equivalent to high-end enterprise products. Is this service open to the public?Well, it's not really a service. (Although we do provide excellent service) We use Dojo for our web-based Graphical User Interface, used to administer and monitor the product. What version of Dojo, and what components are you using?We are currently working with a nightly revision after 1.0 was released, and we are using practically every aspect of Dojo. From Dojo FX to animate a few display effects to DojoX Grids that refresh their data views when you or anyone else logged into the system makes changes. We make extensive use of the Dijit project including: SplitContainer, TabContainer, AccordionContainer, Tree, custom Dialog using DojoX ContentPane and a few extra goodies, and custom Menus. What made you choose Dojo?When this project started, we looked at several different toolkits. We decided on Dojo based on several factors. It has several well known companies working with it, it has been around for some time and has shown continuing maturity in its development processes. What was your favorite thing about working with Dojo?Personally, I would say the people. You meet some of the most interesting people working with projects like Dojo. More project related however, I would have to say dojo.query() and dojo.fx, when used in conjunction with each other, are my favorite thing with dojo.xhrGet/Post coming in a close second place. |
